Speech & Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Abby earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Emerson College in May 2025 and is thrilled to be continuing her academic journey there this fall as a graduate student in the same field. Her passion for speech-language pathology was further fueled by a rewarding semester-long volunteership at The Ely Center, LLC in fall 2024. Before joining The Ely Center team, Abby spent over six years in the Waltham Public Schools, where she wore many hats as a dedicated special education paraprofessional and substitute teacher. These roles deepened her commitment to supporting neurodiverse learners and reinforced her enthusiasm for communication sciences. Abby is excited to bring her experience, energy, and compassion to her work at The Ely Center. Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading romance novels, exploring new coffee shops, and can often be found on a run!
