The overarching goal of OT at The Ely Center is to support self regulation and improve the performance of everyday functional skills (i.e. regulation, zipping, buttoning, recording assignments, task initiation and completion, and building awareness of their strengths and how best to support their areas of challenge.) Skill building is addressed through playful navigation of everyday activities. Zones of RegulationⓇ is one methodology utilized for this practice.
